Fashion Store Design- G & G
The overall interior is tailored to suit the chic vibe of the store to the first traditional city of Sri Lanka.
Located in the city of Anuradhapura, this 12,000 square-feet store designed by SAHA Architects tells the story of the brand while creating an immersive shopping experience. For G & G, a label by Sewana and Madhusha, the idea was simple—to have a neutral palette, accentuated with vintage colors and metal fitouts, where the clothes do the talking.
The store is divided into three zones with three unique themes to create congruence between luxury and aesthetics while relaying a rich, sensory experience to the user.
The long orange reception table and the metal ceiling in the first zone which makes the entrance to the store designed to attract the customer from the outside as the shop front is narrow and covered. The facade is designed with contemporary metal screens which looks like a rigid structure from outside, becomes quite flexible inside and effect achieved by a carefully conceptualized spatial layout.
